Dear teachers and students!
Today, a difficult time has come for all of us, for our entire country, when we must unite and be together, together with our people, together with our President.
The events that are taking place cannot but cause alarm in the minds of people. In addition, in this turbulent time, we must be one whole, a country that defends national interests. Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, in his addresses, detailed and clearly outlined the reasons that he was guided by when making a difficult but forced decision aimed at protecting our Motherland. The Council of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of the Republic of Bashkortostan supports this decision of the President of our country.
Russia has never started a war. However, any encroachment on the sovereignty and freedom of our people turned into a collapse for our opponents. Our people are peace loving, and they do not need either other people's wealth or other people's territories. Nevertheless, no one ever dares to threaten our centuries-old values, among which the main one is love for our Fatherland!
The university community of our Republic has always been famous for its unique atmosphere of unity and camaraderie, respect for different opinions and points of view, intellectual discussions on the most difficult issues, high corporate culture. Now we all need to unite even more, be united in our views; rely on objective reality, and not on excessive emotions and fake information. Reason, historical justice and responsibility for the future of Russia - this is what we should all be guided by today.
The universities of Bashkortostan face many tasks, the main of which are the development of science, technology, and the training of highly qualified personnel in demand. Moreover, we will solve these problems, despite the unreasonable sanctions policy of Western countries that support the nationalist regime, which has condemned both adults and children of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics to an unbearable life for many years.
Rectors and university administrations call on everyone to calmness and creative work in order to get out of this difficult situation as soon as possible. We ask you to strengthen our civil society with all your might and unite in the name of peace on earth and a bright future for our Great Motherland.
