“Our efforts aimed at the development of science, at ensuring the connection between science and production, are yielding serious results. Ufa State Aviation Technical University became one of the winners of the competition for the creation of advanced engineering schools, which was attended by 89 universities from 45 regions of the country. There will be 30 such schools in Russia.
This is an undoubted merit of our Eurasian Scientific and Educational Center and the success of the USATU staff. What does it give? The advanced engineering school of USATU "Motors of the Future" will receive a grant of up to 1 billion rubles in 2022-2024. This money will be used to fulfill a global scientific and technical task - the creation of highly efficient power plants, units and their systems for military and civil aviation in Russia, exceeding the world level. Ultimately, this will ensure the technological sovereignty of our country in this area.
It is important that the project of our school has already been supported by major industrial partners - Rostec, KAMAZ, the Central Institute of Aviation Motors named after P.I. Baranov. This, by the way, is one of the main features of advanced engineering schools - practitioners from production will be involved in the work, and university teachers will be able to train in manufacturing companies.
