This decision was announced today by the Government of the Russian Federation. From the 27 world-class campus projects, eight projects have been selected. Construction will begin as early as 2021. The interuniversity student campus in Ufa also included in this list.
The selection was carried out in accordance with the criteria approved by the Ministry of Education and Science. These are integration into the urban environment, accommodation for 2.5 thousand people, the participation of the region's universities in the Priority-2030 program and co-financing from various sources, including through businesses.
An interuniversity student campus in the Republic will appear as part of the activities of the world-class Eurasian Scientific and Educational Center. “A complex of educational buildings, a technopolis, student and sports centers, hostels for students, teachers and young scientists will be located on an area of 5 hectares. The buildings will be connected by pedestrian and bicycle paths, and they will also equip a descent to the embankment of the Belaya River. " - reported on the website of the Eurasian REC.
