International Cooperation at Ufa University of Science and Technology

You don't need to know the national language to study in Russia. You can enroll in a preparatory program, where foreigners study Russian and relevant subjects depending on their future major. After completing the preparatory program, you can apply to any Russian-language educational program.

To help students improve their language and communication skills, as well as to provide high-quality training for applicants, to improve their educational and professional level for admission to the Ufa University of Science and Technology

ALL international students (except citizens of the Republic of Belarus, as well as those holding a temporary residence permit or residence permit) residing in the Russian Federation are required to undergo the following within 90 days of crossing the border: Medical examination;
Mandatory state fingerprinting and photographing. Address for medical examination and mandatory state fingerprinting and photographing: Ufa, Sarapulskaya St., Building 58, 2nd floor, windows 9 and 10.
Failure to comply with the law will result in the following sanctions: Reduction of the foreign citizen's temporary stay. A decision on the undesirability of stay in the Russian Federation (deportation).

Tuition: 170,000 rubles per year. Our programs are tailored to individual needs and include long-term and short-term Russian language courses in standard and intensive formats in academic groups of up to 10-13 students.

To study, foreign citizens must send their documents to ums@uust.ru. Applications are accepted from July 1st to November 1st. Invitations are processed within one month and then sent to the applicant's email address.

A copy of your passport and its notarized translation into Russian; A copy of your educational documents and their notarized translation into Russian; A payment receipt for your contract (for students studying on a fee-paying basis);

Please note: Some countries require document legalization. You can check whether legalization is required here: https://nic.gov.ru/ru/proc/lega When applying to a Russian university, international applicants must present the original educational document. According to Russian law, it must be legalized in the country of issue.

The Association of International Students of Russia (AIS RF) is an all–Russian student organization established in 1996 in Moscow on the basis of the RUDN University, which today unites more than 10,000 people from 70 countries around the world. In recent years, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation has been paying special attention to the activities of the Association of Foreign Students of Russia and providing comprehensive support. Ufa University joined the Board of Trustees of the AIS of Russia in 2023. And already in 2024, the Ufa AIS branch was opened on the basis of UUST. Currently, there are 28 branches of the Association of International Students in different cities of Russia. The Ufa branch of AIS includes international students from UUST, BSPU, BSMU, and BSAU.

• Promoting and deepening mutual understanding between Ufa University's international students, the university administration, and its governing and educational bodies;
• Assisting international students in their professional training, representing and protecting their legal rights and interests;
• Promoting mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of all countries;
• Organizing and holding lectures, seminars, roundtables, and meetings in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation for the Association;
• Informing Russian citizens about the objective situation of international students and the activities of the Association through the media;
• Improving and developing cultural, educational, and adaptation work with international students;
• Promoting cultural and humanitarian exchange between student youth from Russia and abroad.
