At the Faculty of Avionics, Energy and Infocommunications, the new Department of Biomedical Engineering defended the final qualification works of undergraduates. The topics of the projects were varied and relevant.

According to the Chairman of the SEC, Head of the Department of Ophthalmology of the Bashkir State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Timur Mukhamadeev, the final works related to the development of mathematical and software for making forecasts for the condition of patients in covid and post-covid periods were especially interesting.  

Thus, master student Svetlana Belozerova, who is an active cardiologist, completed a project on the topic “Development of a calculator for the risk of death of a patient from diseases of the circulatory system in the long term after undergoing COVID-19”. The young doctor plans to use the results of the research in his future professional activities.

The work of Elvina Saetova is devoted to the most relevant area of ​​modern medicine. In her project “Technological and organizational support for the design of digital twins of technical systems”, the current state of designing digital twins in medical companies during the INDUSTRY 4.0 period was analyzed, a technology was developed for organizing the process of designing digital twins of technical systems, as well as a decision support system for diagnosing the technical condition of medical equipment based on artificial intelligence methods and fuzzy logic models.

The Commission also noted the projects "Mathematical and software for assessing the risks of survival of patients with diabetes during the course of COVID-19", "Mathematical and software for assessing the risks of survival of patients in the covid and post-covid period", "Application of innovative resource-saving technologies to optimize working processes of the BSMU Clinic.
