Within the framework of the IX All-Russian Scientific Conference "Information Technologies of Intellectual Decision Support" ITIDS'2021 and the Eurasian REC, held a round table "Genetics, Bioinformatics and Intelligent Decision Making Methods". About 50 scientists and researchers from the USATU, the Institute of Biochemistry and Genetics of the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Bashkir State University took part in this event. The event was held in a mixed format.

The Director of the Institute of Biochemistry and Genetics of the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Education, Professor Elza Khusnutdinova and Co-Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence of the University of Surrey (England), Professor Inga Prokopenko, greeted the participants.

During the meeting, the issues of molecular genetic foundations of individual sensitivity to bronchial asthma therapy, genetic factors for the development of aggressive and depressive human behavior, the role of genetic factors in the formation of osteoporosis, as well as the tasks of processing genetic data and practical application of the results were discussed. The work of the round table showed the importance and prospects of joint research by scientists from universities and research institutes in the field of genetics and bioinformatics.
