The head of the region expressed his opinion after the report of the director of the State Regional Center for Standardization, Metrology and Testing in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Sergei Sevnitsky, on the work and development prospects of the Center for Standardization and Metrology of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

In his speech, Sergei Sevnitsky noted that one of the key problems of the machine tool industry is the dominance of imports due to the absence of effective technical barriers, as well as obsolete basic standards. The development of standards is carried out through the work of specialized committees for standardization, in which representatives of enterprises, organizations - members of the TC take part.

“This year Rus-standard made a decision to restart the work of TK-070 Machines by including the enterprises of the machine-tool industry of the Republic of Bashkortostan into its structure,” Sergei Sevnitsky said. - Before that, not a single enterprise of the republic took part in the work of the technical committee. The rector of USATU Sergey Novikov was appointed as the chairperson of TC-070, the deputy minister of industry, energy and innovations of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ural Nasibullin and me were appointed as co-chairs.

A lot of work has been done in six months, which makes it possible to hope that in the short term the committee will be able to organize work on revising standards, many of which are over 30 years old, even 50 each.

By the next Russian industrial forum, promising five-year programs for national standardization in machine tool building will be developed, and we hope that this activity will become a real support for our enterprises, and the entire industry will help improve the quality and competitiveness of domestic products. The program will allow attracting funds from the federal budget to co-finance R&D and development of standards. "

Note that in May this year, by order of the head of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rus-standard) Anton Shalaev, USATU became a member of the technical committee for standardization TC 070 "Stanki", and rector Sergei Novikov was appointed chairman of this technical committee.

This decision confirms the high competence of the university, its serious status and potential, as well as the great trust of the federal center to the regional university and Bashkiria as a whole. The members of the new team of the committee included the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Innovation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, "CSM of the Republic of Bashkortostan", FSUE "Standartinform", PJSC "ERIMCMT", MSTU "STANKIN", Association of Machine Tool Manufacturers "Stankoinstrument", as well as leading research and production enterprises and companies of Bashkortostan, including ESM LLC, Induction Machines LLC, NPO Stankostroenie LLC, Katran LLC, etc.

Among the priority tasks of TC 070 “Stanki " is the formation of a national standardization program, coordination of activities for the development and updating of national and interstate standards in the field of machine tool construction.
