During the visit of the delegation of the Russian Academy of Sciences to the USATU, meeting was held, the topic of which was the prospects for cooperation between the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Republic of Bashkortostan in the field of scientific support for the development of natural resources and the development of high-tech industries. The conversation was about cooperation in the field of oil, gas and coal chemistry, mechanical engineering, and agro-industrial and humanitarian spheres.

Andrey Adrianov, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, spoke about the main areas of cooperation between the Russian Academy of Sciences and the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the interests of scientific and technological development. He stressed that each agreement between the Russian Academy of Sciences and the subjects of the federation outlines a circle of interactions, taking into account the specifics and specific socio-economic tasks that this region faces.
“An important component in the implementation of our policy is the interaction with the national academies of sciences that operate in four republics,” Andrey Adrianov noted. “Cooperation at regional sites is also carried out within the framework of existing scientific and educational centers created with the active assistance of the Russian Academy of Sciences.”
In his report, Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan Alexander Degtyarev presented the project for the creation of the Evraslab International Scientific, Cultural and Educational Center, substantiating its geolocation in Bashkiria as the most advantageous.
"The advantage of the center's location in Ufa is its equidistance from large industrial centers of Russia and foreign regions located in the contour of the Eurasian space, which predetermines the historical and ethno-national identity, and also makes logistical communications the most optimal," commented Alexander Degtyarev.
Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Ivanov devoted his speech to the topic of scientific and technological development and the new environment.
“In many areas of knowledge, we have already reached the limit, and now we need to understand how we will use this knowledge and for what. Of course, for a person. So we must link human development issues with our technological development,” the speaker stressed.
Director of the Institute for Problems of Super plasticity of Metals of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Radik Mulyukov, Leading Researcher of the Institute of Petrochemistry and Catalysis of the Ural Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences Nelli Grigoryeva, Deputy Director for Research of the Institute for Strategic Studies of the Republic of Bashkortostan Alfiya Kuznetsova spoke about the current research programs and developments of their organizations.
The meeting was completed by the report of the rector of USATU Sergey Novikov on the topic "Import independence as the basis for the development of USATU".
It says, in particular, that USATU historically, with its potential and developments, is included in the processes of import independence and import advance. With a large research and development base, the university introduces its developments in mechanical engineering, machine tool building, information technology, and medicine.
To implement complex projects, the university enters into cooperation and partnerships with industrial, scientific, and educational organizations. Participation in the activities of the world-class Eurasian Scientific and Educational Center of the Republic of Bashkortostan gives the university wide opportunities for implementing the most daring scientific projects. Since its inception in 2020, USATU has been one of its anchor members.
"The mission of USATU is the preservation and development of high engineering competencies and traditions of domestic aviation engine building," Sergey Novikov emphasized.
