The Russian Forum "Import Independence of Aircraft Manufacturing" has opened at the Ural State Aviation Technical University.
The large-scale forum is attended by over two hundred participants from all over the country - representatives of international associations, leading corporations, industrial enterprises, research institutes, educational institutions of the Russian aircraft engine industry, as well as developers of domestic software and hardware supercomputer solutions.
Topical issues of the modern aircraft industry in Russia are on the agenda - the development of sovereign technologies through the broad integration of human, scientific and production potential, the adjustment of strategies for the modernization of the aviation industry based on its own resources with the construction of a unique anticipatory policy.
At the plenary session, "science, production, management" met at the negotiating table. President of the International Association "Union of Aviation Engine Building", Honorary Doctor of USATU Viktor Chuiko welcomed Russian aircraft manufacturers and emphasized in his speech that "it is necessary to optimize integration and import independence in cooperation with other countries."
The speakers presented the unique personnel, scientific and industrial potential of universities, research institutes, and enterprises of the country. The cooperation of these innovative projects will ensure the technological sovereignty of our aviation industry in the near future.
The rector of the university Sergei Novikov spoke about the scientific and technical potential of the Ufa State Aviation Technical University to ensure the import independence of the aircraft industry and a number of other industries.
- So, in the interests of industrial partners, modern laboratories, youth research centers and student design bureaus have been created and are successfully operating at the university, - the rector of USATU emphasized. – Very soon, others will start working, for example, a laboratory of unmanned aerial systems, an eco-laboratory for the use of recycling and immersive technologies in safety, etc. We also take part in the federal program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation “Advanced Engineering Schools” with the project “Motors of the Future”, grant support of which will help accelerate the training of engineers of the new formation.
Rector of St. Petersburg State Marine Technical University Gleb Turichin spoke about modern direct laser growth technologies developed by scientists of the maritime university and demanded by the economy for the manufacture and repair of GTE and GPU components. It should be noted that USATU and SPbGMTU signed a cooperation agreement, within the framework of which a joint educational program of the master's program "Laser and additive technologies in aircraft engine building" will be implemented.
The President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology of the Ufa State Aviation Technical University Kamil Ramazanov presented the guests with advanced technological solutions and developments of the Aviation University under sanctions. Tomorrow, the forum participants will see with their own eyes how the best projects of the research teams of the university are created and work.
Representatives of the industrial complex, General Director of JSC SKB "Turbina" Eduard Bazhenov and Chief Designer of JSC "Sarapul Power Generation Plant" Alexei Pozdeev said that to ensure technological independence, a "fusion" of science and design thought is needed. Such information exchange will accelerate the practical application of the results of promising scientific research.
A number of topical reports "Aeropolises as regional cluster projects to improve the efficiency of regional control centers" by Elena Antipina, General Director of the Institute for Public-Private Planning, Head of the Interdepartmental Working Group on Dual-Use Scientific and Industrial Clusters of the Collegium of the Military Industrial Complex of the Russian Federation, Member of the Expert Council on Regional Policy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, " Innovative technologies and equipment in the field of material processing and surface engineering”, Director of the Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vitaly Zalessky and others were heard on the first day of the forum.
On June 3, during the work of round tables, the forum participants will develop specific solutions on issues of ensuring import independence in the field of aircraft manufacturing.
