On December 27, at the Laboratory and Testing Complex (LIK "Airport"), the USATU hosted a New Year event "Give a holiday to children".
The USATU and the Military Commandant’s Office of the Ufa Garrison organized the celebration for the students of the Ufa Aviation Technical School (part of the USATU), left without parental care.
The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the USATU Alexei Elizariev, the military commandant of the Ufa garrison Valentin Solodovnik, the deputy head of the Ufa Administration Artur Gafarov welcomed the students. All of them wished the children health, happiness, successful studies and a happy vacation.
The officers of the Military Training Center took the students on a tour around the aviation equipment base, and the cadets helped to get up and stay in the cockpits of helicopters and airplanes. The most curious were able to feel like real pilots, sitting at the controls of winged machines.
Then the students got the opportunity to see the latest armored vehicles used by the military police and they got the opportunity to ride the "Typhoon K" armored vehicle.
Well, what is the New Year without Santa Claus and Snow Maiden? The two main fairy tale characters organized a small musical program for the children with dances, contests and gifts.
At the end of the holiday, the students tasted the soldier's porridge straight from the field kitchen and warmed up by the stove in the army tent.
“Just the other day, we held a meeting at USATU for the management of the military police of the Central Military District,” commented Valentin Solodovnik, the military commandant of the Ufa garrison. - Interaction with the university turned out to be productive, and it was decided to organize a joint event for younger students. I see that the students were very interested, and I am sure that some of them will definitely want to link their future destiny with the military police. And we always need good specialists! "

“The university has an excellent tradition to hold the spring events called “Aviation Days of USATU”. However, due to the pandemic, they have been canceled for two years. In addition, young people are always interested in technology. Therefore, we decided to show the combat vehicles of aviation and armored vehicles of the military police to at least a small group of children. "
Let us remind that USATU is the only university in Bashkortostan that has its own aircraft fleet. At the LTC parking lot "Airport" there are Mi-2, Mi-8 MT helicopters, MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-29, Su-27 aircraft, other aviation and special equipment (including the Strizh drone), which transferred from military units for study by students during practical and laboratory work.
