University Rector Sergey Novikov, together with Vice-Rector for Economic Affairs Ivan Tarasyuk and Chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee Robert Valiev, inspected the progress of repair work in dormitory No. 6.

We are talking about shower rooms that have long required updating. Both the management of the university and the residents rated the result as quite satisfactory.

Taking the opportunity, the students showed the rector their rooms, in which they had made repairs themselves. Clean, beautiful, comfortable - the guys did a great job! The students also asked the management to allocate the necessary building materials to continue repairs in the rooms, as well as in the corridors of the hostel.

“Creating comfortable conditions for studying and living for students is one of the main tasks of the university management. And when the guys themselves take the initiative to equip their "second home" with their own hands - it's great! After all, here they spend 24/7 of their time, and their mood and academic performance depend on how comfortable and pleasant it will be for them to live. We will definitely support such an initiative,” Rector Sergei Novikov noted.
