Two representatives of our university became its winners of the All-russian engineering competition which was held at the National Research Nuclear University in Moscow
VEC is a system of annual professional competitions to identify the best representatives among undergraduate and graduate students. The competition is organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Among the industrial partners are Rosatom, Rostec, Roskosmos and other major domestic companies.
The competition was held in several stages. In the final, the expert commission evaluated 280 engineering projects and engineering developments. Among the participants 59 winners and 75 prize-winners.
Six students who successfully passed the qualifying tests represented USATU in the final of the competition. According to the decision of the contest experts, two of them became the winners of the WNG-2021/22 final. These are graduate student Denis Tarakanov with the project "Development of a digital model for obtaining biogas for the design and operation of a biogas plant based on energy-efficient technology for processing food waste" and student Alsu Shaniyazova "Reclamation of oil-contaminated lands."
As young researchers noted, the value of participation in the competition is an opportunity to get an expert assessment and exchange experience with other participantsм
