The Ufa guests met with the General Director of the enterprise Alexander Gavrilov and top managers of the plant. As part of the presentation, the rector of USATU spoke about the educational, research work of the university, innovative projects and developments in the field of import substitution.

The factory workers showed great interest in joint research and development work, and are ready to negotiate the release of highly specialized specialists.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on a return visit and substantive study of cooperation issues.

Krasnoyarsk Machine-Building Plant is the largest enterprise of the military-industrial complex of Russia, is part of the state corporation Roscosmos, is a subsidiary of Makeev GRC JSC.

The plant produces upper stages for launching spacecraft for various purposes into high orbits and departure trajectories. Until recently, these were Proton and Zenit launch vehicles; today it is the promising Angara A5 heavy-class launch vehicle. It is at Krasmash that the most formidable weapon of our time is being created - the fifth-generation silo-based strategic missile system with the RS-28 Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile.
