5 Masters students from Nanjing Technical University will undergo a six-month internship at our university.  Students will study under the program "Development and production of advanced lightweight materials in the field of aeronautics and astronautics."

Note that the group advisor is Dong Yuecheng, a lecturer at Nanjing Technical University.  In 2013, he completed his postgraduate studies at USATU and defended his dissertation under the guidance of Professor Igor Alexandrov.

Today, Dr. Dong Yuecheng teaches at Nanjing Technical University and actively cooperates with our university.

In 2013, immediately after defending his thesis, Dr. Dong Yuecheng recalled his acquaintance with our professors Igor Aleksandrov and Ruslan Valiev.

“Their work in the field of nanomaterial is well known all over the world, so I wanted to continue my studies at the USATU” - commented the newly made candidate. “In the beginning, it was difficult; at the first exam, I did not even understand the question. But in three years I learned Russian and defended my dissertation”.

Dr. Dong Yuecheng then highlighted that he would have stayed in Ufa, but he had a contract with his home state, where he received a scholarship to study, so he had to return home. “I hope to come to Russia within the framework of joint research projects between our universities,” the young scientist promised then and kept his word.

Now he introduces his students to Russia and actively cooperates with our university.

In coming days, the Chinese students will start their studies, and we are hoping to ask them about their impressions and find out how they going to remember our country.
