Cadets of the Military Training Center(MTC) of USATU, like the whole country, are getting ready to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Rehearsals of the military parade, which will be held on May 9 on the central street of Ufa - Oktyabrya Avenue, are being held on the university square. The cadets of the MTC will traditionally take part in the citywide celebration. 140 people - two ceremonial crews, together with the officers of the Center, will line up with the military personnel of the Ufa garrison, representatives of law enforcement agencies, veterans of military operations and military service, as well as cadets and youth soldiers of the republic.
Before the start of the rehearsal the rector Sergey Novikov, who wished the students fighting spirit, health and success in this difficult time, admonished our students.
In addition, the military commandant of the Military commandant's office of the garrison of the city of Ufa, Valentin Solodovnik, addressed the cadets. He noted that the majority of the military personnel of the republic take part in a special operation on the territory of Ukraine and the duty of the cadets of the MTC, future officers, is to be the best and the first always and in everything.
Recall that on May 5, 2022, a solemn rally and a military sports relay race dedicated to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War will be held at the USATU. This is an unshakable tradition of our university, which began in 1974. On May 7, 1974, a monument was solemnly opened in front of the main building of the university - as if frozen for a moment in rapid flight, the world's first serial supersonic all-weather fighter-interceptor MiG-19. After the opening, the first paramilitary sports competitions began.
One of the main components of the holiday is the solemn passage of the personnel of the Military Training Center and the laying of flowers at the memorial of teachers, staff and students of the university who died during the Great Patriotic War.
