Tomsk hosted the finals of the XXII All-Russian annual competition-conference for students and graduate students on information security "SIBINFO-2022".
This is one of the most authoritative competitions in the field of information security. The competition is organized by the Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics with the participation of the TUSUR Institute for System Integration and Security and the Regional Branch of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association in the System of Higher Education in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts.
Twenty finalists, representing fifteen scientific and educational institutions, were selected in the course of a double-blind peer review of more than fifty scientific papers sent to the organizing committee by applicants. 12 undergraduate and graduate students from Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Moscow, Zelenograd, Tula, Samara and Ufa took part in the competition. Among the participants who presented reports via video link were students and cadets from Moscow, Omsk, Stavropol and Ryazan.
Traditionally, students of the Department of Computer Science and Information Security of our university took part in the competition-conference. And they have had great success. Graduate student Ildar Zabirov (IB-206m) and graduate student Nail Bashmakov became winners of the correspondence stage of the competition, and Nail Bashmakov became the winner in the face-to-face final with the report “The Method for Forming a Set of the Most Relevant Compromise Indicators” (supervisor – Professor Vadim Kartak)
