Moscow hosted the Youth Forum "Chinese-Russian Relations - Boundless Future". The Chinese Embassy in Russia, the Federal Agency organized the landmark event for Youth Affairs and the Russian Youth Union.
The forum participants - young scientists, entrepreneurs, diplomats, journalists, bloggers, athletes and students - considered in detail ways to intensify Russian-Chinese cooperation in the new realities, exchanged views on topical issues of economic cooperation, innovation and sports exchanges.
The work of the forum was held in three areas: “Economic development for the benefit of the peoples”, “Years of sports exchanges for the sake of a common future” (2022 and 2023 were declared “years of sports” by Moscow and Beijing), “Technological leadership - innovative development”.
Svyatoslav Pegov, Chairman of the Electronic Sports Federation of Bashkortostan, head of the USATU e-sports sector, comments:
“I took part in the forum as the head of e-sports at USATU and an expert on digital culture of the Chamber of Young Legislators of the Federation Council.
In the technology section, I spoke about the possibilities of e-sports as a testing ground for scientific and educational programs. Interestingly, the representative of Rosatom and part-time lecturer at MEPhI supported my report in his speech.
It is also important that at the forum the possibility of holding international e-sports student games of the SCO countries was discussed with Rosmolodezh and the Chinese side, in the organization of which USATU can play a significant role as a technical university that has been working productively with Chinese partners for a long time.”
