On March 17, held a meeting at Technological University named after twice Hero of the Soviet Union, pilot-cosmonaut A.A. Leonov, an expanded meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Regional Scientific and Educational Cluster "North-East". The topic of discussion is the staffing of high-tech industries.
A delegation of the university headed by Rector Sergey Novikov attended the event. The Technological University, one of the leading universities in the Moscow region, is today a center for continuous education and comprehensive training of qualified specialists for enterprises in the rocket and space industry. The university provides training in the most popular IT and engineering areas for SCS enterprises. The university is the base institution of higher education of the Regional Scientific and Educational Cluster "North-East".
At the meeting, the rector of St. Petersburg State Marine Technical University Gleb Turichin told the participants about the creation of a network of technology centers for additive and related technologies in Russia as part of the implementation of the Priority 2030 strategic academic leadership program. In 2021, MSTOU, as part of a consortium organized by the Maritime University, entered the program, and on its basis, the first regional technology center in Russia will be created for the development and implementation of advanced technologies for laser processing of materials and additive manufacturing, digital design and simulation systems for creating missile products. - space technology with characteristics identical to or exceeding the best world analogues.
Now USATU will become a part of this large-scale project. At the meeting, an agreement was signed on the Consortium and the creation of a national network of technology centers for laser, additive and related technologies. 20 participants signed the document - these are representatives of the best Russian companies and enterprises in the field of aircraft, rocket, engine building and the country's leading technical universities. On behalf of the USATU, the rector Sergey Novikov endorsed the agreement.
The objectives of the Consortium are; creation and development of a national network of technology centers; development and implementation of domestic laser, additive and related technologies; ensuring the technological development of enterprises in high-tech industries of the Russian Federation.
