Recently, the first deputy minister of digital development of public administration of the Republic of Bashkortostan visited USATU, a graduate of the USATU Denis Slepov. We asked him to answer a few questions.
- Denis Sergeevich, why did you choose USATU?
- In 2004, when I graduated from school, information technology had just begun to develop actively, but few people understood what it was. It was interesting to me, and I learned that USATU is considered the most advanced in this area. Computer science and robotics - sounded very tempting and promising. As a gold medalist with 96 points in mathematics, I could go to any specialty, and at the Faculty of Informatics and Robotics, I chose the longest and most beautiful title "Mathematical Support and Administration of Information Systems".
FIR provides its students with a perfectly balanced volume of fundamental and promising knowledge that will never leave them without work. I am sure that today's graduates will become the drivers of all areas of the country's economy. After all, digital transformation involves the integration of IT technologies into all areas of our life.
- Do you remember where you spent your first stipend?
I do not remember exactly, but I probably bought something for sports. Since childhood, I have been fond of football and played for the university team.
- What did the university give you?
- USATU is a part of the heart, a part of life. The university gave not only technical education, but also general life literacy. When we recruit employees, USATU graduates always show a very high competency level during interviews.
- Admit it honestly did you skip classes?
- Yes, like any normal student.
- Where did you spend this time?
- My friends and I had a favorite cafe near the university, where we were happy to get together and communicate.
- What is your formula for success?
- Work honestly, give all your best, complete tasks, generate your own ideas and implement them. In addition, to treat people with respect, avoid intrigues and gossip; I do not waste my time on them.
- Would you advise applicants to enter the USATU?
- Necessarily! My colleagues and I travel a lot to the regions and I can say with confidence that the universities of Bashkiria provide an excellent, decent education, the level of which is not less than that of other universities. In addition, I have met many aviation graduates, they easily find work throughout the country and abroad. However, it is better, of course, to live and work in our republic!
- What would you like to wish for students?
- Learn with enthusiasm. Absorb as much knowledge as possible. To participate in contests, competitions - to prove yourself. Try to get additional competencies in courses, internships. Student time is a time of opportunities and prospects that can and should be used.
