This year, Ufa State Aviation Technical University, together with the whole country, will celebrate the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

On May 5, a number of events are planned at USATU.

At 11.20 in the hall of the second building, the action "We remember" will begin. Students, including foreign students, will read poems about the war, place symbolic doves with the names of their relatives who took part in the Second World War on the Tree of Memory, and volunteers will distribute St. George ribbons.

At 15.00, a traditional solemn rally will take place on the university square near the plane. Cadets and students of the Military Training Center, members of sports teams of faculties and institutes will march in parade.

With a minute of silence and laying flowers at the Military Glory Memorial, students and staff will honor the memory of those who died during the war. As part of the "Voice of Victory" campaign, students organize a flash mob with flags of the Russian tricolor.

A bright decoration of the celebration will be concert performances of amateur performances and demonstration performances of athletes.

Then the military-sports relay race will start. The competition program includes putting on a combined arms protective kit (CAPK), assembling and disassembling an assault rifle and a pistol, dressing the wounded, running. The winners will receive medals, certificates and prizes.

In addition, on May 9, two ceremonial crews - 140 cadets and officers of the USATU Military Training Center will take part in the Republican Victory Parade. The Deputy Head of the MTC, Colonel Marat Farkhiev, will head the column.

Reference. The tradition of holding a military-sports relay race at USATU dates back to the spring of 1974. This year, on May 7, a memorial aircraft MiG-19 was installed on the square of the university as a symbol of the domestic aircraft industry.

This is the world's first serial supersonic all-weather fighter-interceptor, which was once flown by famous pilots. Among them: cosmonaut Georgy Beregovoy, test pilot Stepan Mikoyan, pilot Vladimir Seregin.
