Announced the results of the competitive selection of recipients of the scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation in 2022-2024 for young scientists and graduate students carrying out promising research and development in priority areas of modernization of the Russian economy.

Among the scholarship holders are three representatives of our university - Andrey Medvedev, a junior researcher at the Research Institute for Physics of Advanced Materials, and Aibulat Miniyarov and Ildus Sayakhov, junior research workers at the Department of Electromechanics. They are working on creating new electrically conductive materials and improving the energy efficiency of aircraft.

In total, twelve young researchers of the Eurasian REC from Bashkir State University, Ufa State aviation Technical University, Ufa State Petroleum technical University, Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences and IPSM RAS became the holders of the scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation. Young (up to 35 years old) scientists and graduate students with Russian citizenship were able to become candidates for the scholarship. Among the selection criteria are scientific achievements, including publication of articles in high-ranking journals Web of Science and Scopus, participation in scientific research, conferences and seminars, prizes, medals and other awards for the period 2017-2021.

The head of the republic, Radiy Khabirov, announced on his social networks about young scientists from Bashkiria - holders of a prestigious scholarship.

- The President's scholarship will help them continue their work in the strategically important priority areas of development of the Russian economy, - said Radiy Faritovich.

In addition, the head of the region said that the republican authorities approved a grant in the amount of 200 million rubles for Bashkir universities - participants in the Priority 2030 program and grants for our young scientists. Internships abroad and in Russia are planned for 200 young researchers from Bashkortostan. In addition, another 200 leading scientists will be helped to improve their living conditions.
