Students Roman Zagvozkin (FADET) and Anastasia Kerasirova (USATU branch in Kumertau) were awarded one-time awards from the State Space Corporation Roscosmos in 2021 to commend the 60th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's flight.
The winners, as well as the Director of the Administrative Department of Roscosmos State Corporation Dmitry Shishkin, Deputy Head of the Cosmonaut Training Center Vladimir Dubinin and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Babkin attended the first online ceremony.
Roman Zagvozkin is a 5th year student of the Aircraft and Rocket Engine Design Department, a diploma winner of the All-Russian and Republican Student Engineering Olympiads, holder of nominal scholarships.
Roman, as a member of the USATU team, repeatedly took part and became a laureate of the All-Russian Championship "Air Engineering School". In addition, this talented student was a bronze medalist of the International Olympiad in the history of aviation and aeronautics named after A.F. Mozhaisky in Moscow.
Anastasia Kerasirova is a 5th year student in Aircraft Control Systems. She is the author of several scientific articles, an excellent student and a person with an active life style: she participates in the development of the volunteer movement in Kumertau and the organization of various youth competitions.
