The Foundation for Assistance to Civil Society of the Republic of Bashkortostan opens the acceptance of applications for participation in the first competition of grants of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2022 among non-profit organizations.

NGOs of Bashkortostan participating in the development of civil society institutions and implementing socially significant projects will be able to submit competitive applications in 8 areas:

• "Science and education"

• "Social support and protection of citizens"

• "Support for family, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood"

• "Culture, art and preservation of historical memory"

• "Protection of the environment, creation of a comfortable living environment and protection of animals"

• "Strengthening of interethnic and interreligious harmony"

• "Protection of the rights of citizens, support for civil society institutions"

• "Protection of health, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, physical culture and sports."

The competition budget is 90 million rubles.

Applications will be accepted until April 12, 2022 inclusive.

Recall that the Civil Society Assistance Foundation of the Republic of Bashkortostan was established in 2019 by the Decree of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan and is a regional operator of grants from the Head of the Republic of Belarus for non-profit organizations.

“In 2020-2021, 258 NPO projects received grant support in the amount of more than 380 million rubles. We expect that this year the number of participants in the competitions will increase, and with them the quality of the projects submitted. In the new grant competition, we expect projects in the field of patriotic education and preservation of historical memory, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, projects on ecology and strengthening the institution of the family, and others,” commented Lucia Saifullina, Director General of the Foundation.
