The past USATU Open Doors Week brought together a significant number of school and college graduates, as well as their parents, who want to get first-hand information about the conditions for admission to various areas of training.

However, interest in our university does not fade away. On July 6, a new acquaintance with the Faculty of Informatics and Robotics (FIR) took place. Once again, the number of attendees exceeded the number of registrants.

Deputy Dean Maya Gayanova, Head of the Department of Technical Cybernetics Oksana Bezhaeva, Associate Professor of the Department of Informatics Shamil Minasov, Associate Professor of the Department of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics Olga Nurgayanova, Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Information Security Nikolai Andreev, Senior Lecturer of the Department of High-Performance Computing Technologies and Systems Alfiya Yamileva and Assistant of the Department of Geoinformation Systems Vladislav Trubin. They spoke in detail about the peculiarities of preparing students at their departments, partner-employers, and employment prospects.

Then some of the visitors went to the departments for a more detailed discussion about admission, and some went on a sightseeing tour of the university, which was conducted by the head of the career guidance department, Sergey Li. The meetings and the excursion program ended at the admissions office of the university.
