ENSURING INTEGRATED SAFETY IS A PRIORITY
At USATU a great attention is paid to the creation of a safe environment on the university.
Very soon, thousands of students will come to face-to-face classes in university auditoriums, among which there are more than two thousand freshmen. How the university prepared for their admission in matters of integrated security, says the assistant to the rector for security Valery Mishutov:
“The work of our service does not stop for a minute, it is a continuous process of all relevant services and departments. An integrated approach in number of areas, including measures to counter terrorism and extremism, firefighting measures, training in safe behavior on various emergency situations, culture in the field of life safety, the introduction of modern technical means of protection and much more».
Recently, in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, practical briefings were carried out on the actions of security officers when suspicious objects were detected and fires were localized on the university campus. Situation Center for joint actions of the USATU and remote security posts were worked out, including the procedure for calling emergency services and the deployment of fire extinguishing equipment.”
We remind you that the Situation Center operates around the clock at the university, which monitors the operational situation on the territory of the university and student hostel complex, the operability of technical means of security, fire alarms, video surveillance systems, as well as identifies communal accidents and informs the relevant technical services.
