For the first time, a large-scale graduate ball dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the university was held at the Ufa State Aviation Technical University. The holiday took place on the main university square.
The celebration began in an unusual and directly reactive way: a car of the USATU Racing Team with multi-colored smoke bombs flashed in front of the audience at speed.
“Four or five years at the university flew by as quickly as this racing car: hundreds of books read, problems solved, dozens of exams and tests, final work defense. But now it's all over. And today is your holiday, dear graduates! Let's make it memorable," the hosts opened the event.
The anthems of Russia and Bashkortostan were played, and our student from Egypt Sadeq Takla performed the solo on the violin.
With a welcoming speech addressed to the graduates, acting. Rector, Vice-Rector for Economics and Finance Regina Alchanova:
“On behalf of the rector and the entire staff of the university, I congratulate you on your graduation from the university. Within the walls of our alma mater you gained experience and knowledge, met friends and loved ones, realized yourself in social, creative, sports activities. On the part of the management, we have done everything to make your student years interesting and eventful. I am sure that you will always remember the time of study with warmth and nostalgia.
I want to thank your parents and teachers for always being there, teaching you, helping and supporting you.
Today, broad prospects are open before you: someone will continue their education, someone will start working. But no matter where you are, I am sure that you will always adequately represent your university, and we will rejoice at your successes and achievements.
We wish you happiness, health, prosperity, so that you always achieve your goals and do not stop there. Good luck!"
On behalf of the students, a graduate and ex-chairman of the trade union bureau of IEM Kamilla Aikasheva delivered a solemn speech. She thanked all the teachers for their work, energy and patience. The girl addressed the words of deep gratitude to the university administration, student trade union committee and parents.
“One of the difficult stages of our life journey has ended today, but USATU has given us a large number of opportunities, skills and values,” said Camilla. - We have learned to storm, dare and create. Here we left a piece of ourselves, so we don’t say goodbye, but say: “Goodbye!”
A bright, lively and very touching culmination of the ball was a waltz, in which dozens of pairs of graduates spun, led by the finalists of the Mister and Miss USATU competitions.
And now the most long-awaited moment of the gala evening has come - the presentation of diplomas and memorable gifts to the best graduates - excellent students, young researchers, activists of sports and creative activities. In turn, the guys approach their deans and teachers, accepting the cherished crusts and congratulations from their hands.
Well, the main gift to the graduates was the concert of the Ufa cover band "Paris".
