The Ministry of Energy of Russia, together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Federal Agency for Youth and the ANO "Russia - a Land of Opportunities", approved the All-Russian plan of youth events for 2022 "Fuel and Energy Complex for Youth".
“The Russian Ministry of Energy pays special attention to the youth agenda of the fuel and energy complex. In particular, since 2017, together with our colleagues, we have been developing such a plan of youth events, which is the main tool for implementing youth policy in the fuel and energy complex at the federal level. Since last year, the activities of the plan have been implemented as part of the Energy Strategy-2035,” said Anastasia Bondarenko, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation. “The projects included in the plan are aimed at increasing the prestige of energy professions, attracting talented young specialists to industry companies, forming a professional community of young engineers, and sharing knowledge and experience.”
In 2022, in addition to already well-known events such as the CASE-IN International Engineering Championship, the Youth Global Energy Development Forecast, and the Brighter Together All-Russian competition of creative, design and research works, the plan for the first time includes several federal-level cross-industry events.
“We understand that we need flexible approaches, varied and interesting formats for working with young people. This is important for us, because we want young people prepared and motivated for the profession to enter universities that are specialized for the fuel and energy complex, so that after graduation, enterprising specialists capable of non-standard solutions come to work in industry companies, so that we have professional communities of young engineers for communication and exchange of experience. These are the people who will ensure the future of our fuel and energy complex,” said Anastasia Bondarenko.
