On September 1st, students of USATU received another worthy gift - a new student design bureau "Perspective magnetic suspensions" was opened, which will work closely with LLC "Vega-GAZ" - our industrial partner within the framework of the Advanced Engineering School "Motors of the Future".
The opening ceremony was attended by the Rector of USATU Sergey Novikov, Deputy General Director for Production of Vega-GAZ LLC Igor Chernyshev, Head of the EM Department Vyacheslav Vavilov, Professor Flyur Ismagilov and employees of the student design bureau. (By the way, the competition for admission to the SDB among students was serious: three people for one place).
- Today, an important and urgent task is not only the development and research of an active magnetic suspension, but also the preparation of a scientific basis, personnel in this area. For the management of the university and teachers, the growth of our students as specialists, true professionals in their field, is important. This is the main goal of the USATU.
The student bureau will work both as a kind of platform for the development of talented youth, and as a bureau with a competent and responsible partner - Vega-GAZ LLC, - stressed Sergey Novikov, rector of USATU, at the opening.
In turn, the top manager of the company, Igor Chernyshev, thanked the administration of the university and personally the rector of USATU for the modern site for the Special Design Bureau and intellectual support - competent employees and active students. Igor Anatolyevich wished the staff of the university and the student design bureau new victories, creative success and continuous movement towards new goals.
Separately, Deputy General Director Igor Chernyshev addressed the future engineers - participants of the Special Design Bureau "Perspective magnetic suspensions", noting that all the guys after graduation from the university will be employed in the company.
“Today, approach the matter consciously,” he advised the guys. - Work to make your work enjoyable. I am sure that you will be in demand as specialists, because you are engaged in practical activities. There are many areas of work in our production, and you will definitely find an application for your competencies.
Igor Anatolyevich also shared his success story, telling the students that he had gone from an ordinary employee to the Deputy General Director for Production.
During the meeting, Ilnar Yamalov, head of the Special Design Bureau "Perspective magnetic suspensions", told the guests in detail how the work of the bureau would be organized and about the development prospects.
