The Faculty of Avionics, Energy and Info communications opened a series of offline events.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Alexei Elizariev greeted the students of schools, colleges and their parents:
“Almost a whole week you will be able to get acquainted with the educational programs of USATU and the latest developments of our scientists. We hope that on tours of laboratories, classrooms and brand areas you will fully experience the atmosphere of student life. We will not only tell, but also show what and how our students learn. You will learn about the most promising areas of training and the so-called professions of the future.
We are sure that you will spend these days of winter holidays with us, and in the summer we will be glad to see all of you as our applicants.”
Yulia Urazbakhtina, Dean of the AEEIT Faculty, addressed the audience:
“The motto of the faculty is “Who will win a hundred victories? Our strongest AEEIT” confirms our leadership. With this motto, we easily and boldly walk through life and try to be the first in everything.
The most advanced ideas and technologies in the field of photonics, biomedical engineering, microprocessor technology, electric transport of the future, unmanned systems are concentrated at our faculty. They are created and embodied in real production by our scientists and students.”
Radik Kalimullin, Head of the Department for Work with Applicants, told the guests about the timing and features of this year's admission campaign, methods of submitting documents, and opportunities to receive additional points for individual achievements.
Then, divided into groups, the participants had a tour of the innovation centers of the AEEIT faculty, got acquainted with the developments and equipment of the laboratories of photonics, the Internet of Things, medical equipment, control systems for unmanned aerial vehicles, and electric drives.
The visit to the university ended in the Ufanet brand zone, where cadets of the Institute of Military Technical Education demonstrated an exposition of modern weapons.
