The delegation of our university headed by Rector Sergey Novikov is on a working trip to Moscow. The program of the visit is very busy: during the day, our scientists, leaders of innovative projects visited the largest scientific and educational center of the country - Moscow State Technical University named after N.E. Bauman and the leading production site of the Russian fuel and energy complex LLC Vega-GAZ, held a series of negotiations.
One of the central events of the trip was the signing of a cooperation agreement with Bauman Moscow State Technical University. In a solemn atmosphere, the rector of UGATU Sergey Novikov and acting signed the document. Rector of Moscow State Technical University N.E. Bauman Mikhail Gordin.
A key aspect of joint developments is the development and use of electric road transport in Russia. It is no coincidence that the partners in the implementation of the project: Vyacheslav Vavilov - from the USATU, Head of the Department of Electromechanics, Head of the Research Institute "Electrotechnical Complexes and Systems". Where new highly efficient electric motors and generators are being designed, - from the Moscow State Technical University named after N. Bauman - Alexander Kartashov, Director of the REC "Kamaz -Bauman. This opens up broad prospects for our university in the field of research and educational activities!

Further, the delegations had a sightseeing tour of the legendary “Baumanka”: representatives of the USATU visited innovative laboratories and scientific and educational centers, historical and modern locations: the House of Physics, the technopark, the university museum, etc.
The next point of the visit is Vega-GAZ LLC, the largest enterprise that specializes in the development, manufacture and implementation of automatic control systems for oil and gas sector facilities and energy facilities. The beginning of our cooperation is just the beginning: the rector of the USATU Sergey Novikov and the general director of Vega-GAZ LLC Anatoly Naumets signed a confidentiality agreement. Plans for joint work were also discussed: in the near future - the conclusion of an R & D agreement, the creation of a laboratory for the study of magnetic suspension at the university, the opening of a new master's direction for our students.
Then a number of meetings were held with representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and Vnesheconombank. Details in the next issue.
