From noon on September 1, the entire huge area of the university was given to freshmen. The Festival of freshmen unfolded here - a kind of fair of student activities, creative teams and clubs of USATU. Ten different zones introduced new recruits to the traditions and innovations of our university.
In the sports zone, the department of physical education invited the children to test themselves in long jumps and push-ups. The USATU Green Project encouraged people to pedal more boldly on a bicycle shredder in order to get a souvenir made from recycled plastic.
No one was left indifferent to the demonstration performances of the riders of the USATU Racing Team. From the roar of the engine of a sports car and its steep turns, it was literally breathtaking, but the audience was delighted and raced to take pictures against the backdrop of a sports car.
Members of the student rescue corps taught students to provide first aid to the victims and invited those who wished to join their voluntary squad.
As usual, the area of the Military Training Center enjoyed constant success with the guys, where they could see, touch real weapons, and at the same time learn about the upcoming recruitment under the training programs for reserve officers.
The area of the tourist club "Icarus" traditionally had its own special atmosphere, which seemed to effortlessly attract true romantics, lovers of nature, hikes and gatherings with songs around the fire.
The dance zone turned out to be the most active and enticing. Singing loudly, the girls tirelessly circled and moved to the music, involving everyone in their positive whirlpool.
No one was able to pass by the photo zone. Photographed alone, in pairs and in groups. The most beautiful green flower beds and lawns on our square served as an amazing setting for any photo session.
It should be noted that students of other courses gladly joined the grandiose party of first-year students, rejoicing at the meeting with friends and their native university. So the first day of the new school year was positive, fun and interesting!
