During the visit of the delegation of our university to Yekaterinburg, USATU held a meeting with representatives of the PLM Ural Group of Companies.
PLM Ural Group is one of the leading Russian IT companies, an integrator of advanced CAD / CAE / CAM / CAI / PLM solutions designed for digital support of a product at all stages of its life cycle, as well as quality management systems (QMS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Cooperation agreements were signed between USATU and a number of companies belonging to the PLM Ural Group, aimed at joining efforts to train new generation engineers - specialists in the field of high-tech computer engineering, as well as organizing a system of training and advanced training of specialists for various industries of the Republic Bashkortostan and the Russian Federation.
Thus, the university and PLM Engineering LLC (the official distributor of ESI Group software products in the Russian Federation) have agreed to cooperate in the implementation of ESI Group computer modeling technologies into educational work and research activities for modeling the tasks of metal casting, sheet stamping and processes welding.
A cooperation agreement between USATU and KAE Expert LLC (an authorized elite partner of ANSYS) implies the introduction of ANSYS computer modeling technologies for solving problems of mechanics, fluid dynamics, electromagnetism, photonics, functional safety analysis, including using supercomputer technologies.
