USATU was again in the rating of the best universities in the world by «THE» ranking
The results of the ranking of the best universities in the world according to the British magazine Times Higher Education (World University Rankings THE) have been announced. This year it included 60 Russian universities.
Ufa State Aviation Technical University ranked 45th among the country's higher educational institutions, and included in the 1201+ group in the ranking of world universities. The rating list of the group also included the Moscow Aviation University, the St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI", the universities of Kazan, Tomsk, Samara, etc.
Lomonosov Moscow State University became the leader among Russian educational institutions. In the «THE» ranking of republican universities, Bashkir State University also represented, it won the 48th position.
This year, 1,662 educational institutions from 99 countries of the world are compete in the World University Rankings THE. Universities were assessed according to 13 criteria, combined into five groups: citation of scientific articles, contribution to innovation, income from research activities, quality of teaching, extent of globalization of the university (the ability to attract the best employees and foreign students).
USATU has the best indicator in the direction: "raising funds from industry - innovation" (estimated income from research commissioned by industrial enterprises) - 39.5.
