The exclusion from the Bologna system of all Russian universities, which is now being widely discussed, will not disrupt the educational process in the country. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation is adjusting the legislation in such a way as to position its independent unified educational system, taking into account the experience of the Soviet and European systems of recent years. This transformation is not a momentary process: balanced and rational decisions will be made that take into account the needs of the labor market.

Rector of UGATU Sergey Novikov:

 -As for our university, USATU has retained its traditional engineering education. The strategy for the development of the educational policy of the university, relating to all levels (bachelor's, specialist's, master's) includes the principles of fundamental engineering training, design and research activities, multidisciplinarity, teamwork, digital design, network implementation of educational programs.

Today, the university is training in 11 specialties. We train high-class engineers with fundamental theoretical training, a new type of thinking, who are able to see the problem, find a solution, implement and introduce the product on the market. It is these personnel that are needed to ensure Russia's competitiveness in high-tech industries. All this allows us to be more flexible, dynamically adapt to external challenges and train highly qualified specialists
