Under this motto, a rally-concert was held, which today took place in Ufa in front of the Toratau congress hall. More than 20 thousand citizens and guests of the city gathered on the square, among them - students, staff and teachers of USATU.

Despite the cool weather, long before the start of the rally, a column of participants began to form on the university square.

At 16.00 representatives of USATU with the flags of faculties and institutes joined the celebration. Among the participants of the patriotic event were Rector Sergei Novikov, vice-rectors, deans of faculties, directors of institutes, heads of university departments.

Patriotic rally "Welcome home!" is dedicated to the results of the referendum on joining the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions into Russia. The participants, together with the presenters, sang the anthem of the Russian Federation. Representatives of public organizations and movements, politicians addressed those gathered on the square, famous artists performed on the stage.

Recall that a week ago, the USATU also became a participant in the patriotic action in Ufa “The descendants of Shaymuratov do not leave their own!”
