The allocation of  20 billion rubles  for the construction of the student campus of the Eurasian REC in Ufa was called by the rector of the Ufa State Aviation Technical University Sergey Novikov unprecedented for the history of Bashkortostan.

“This fact, without exaggeration, can be called the start of the newest history of science in Bashkiria, since we all perfectly understand that the funds will be spent not only on the construction of dormitories for students and scientists, but also on the opening of additional laboratories, equipping them with the most modern equipment, creating new creative spaces. And I, as the rector of the Aviation University, a university that is engaged in such developments necessary in the modern realities of the world order for the defense complex of Russia, I want to thank the Head of the Republic  Radiy Khabirov, who managed to put such an impressive end to the issue of campus construction. A point that does not complete, but begins a new, breakthrough stage in the development of science in Bashkortostan and Russia, - Sergey Novikov emphasized. - Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this year the  Decade of Science and Technology , and the decision to invest 20 billion rubles in the development of science is very significant in terms of assessing the efficiency of scientific thought in the region. This means that they believe in us, they hope for us, they expect new, necessary and significant discoveries for the Russian economy from us.”

Recall that the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov shared in his social networks the news that all issues of financing the student campus of the Eurasian REC have been resolved. In the coming years, 20 billion rubles of investments will be invested in the project, of which 60% are federal.
