On April 26, representatives of the university, headed by Rector Sergey Novikov, participate in the large-scale Eurasian Economic Youth Forum "Russia and the world in new realities: changing world economic relations." The event takes place in Yekaterinburg at the sites of the Ural State University of Economics.

XII EEYF brought together young scientists and students from 89 countries. The geography of the delegates covers the territory from the city of Lima, the capital of Peru, to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. More than one and a half thousand guests of honor will visit the forum, including Russian statesmen and politicians: Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Urals Federal District Vladimir Yakushev, the leadership of the Sverdlovsk Region, the twelfth world chess champion, deputy of the State Duma, head of the department of chess art at USUE Anatoly Karpov . Deputy Minister of Education and Science Grigory Gurov, well-known public figure Sergei Glazyev made video messages. 25 representatives of diplomatic missions came to the event in Yekaterinburg.

The event was attended by representatives of almost 150 universities in Russia, the CIS and far abroad. During the meeting, the heads of educational institutions of higher education will discuss topical issues and jointly develop a course for further development in modern realities.

Today, on the sidelines of the forum, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Ural State University of Economics and the Ufa State Aviation Technical University. USUE Rector Yakov Silin and USATU Rector Sergey Novikov endorsed the document.

According to the document, the subject of the agreement is the organization of cooperation between the two leading universities of the Urals and Bashkiria in the field of education, science and other areas. In particular, joint participation in activities for career guidance of schoolchildren, recruiting campaigns in non-CIS countries, the development of curricula for foreign students at the preparatory faculty of USUE and USATU in order to orient students for admission to our university, as well as career guidance work with foreign citizens in order to further education at our universities, etc.

All participants note the hospitality and cordiality of the organizers, a rich and varied program, and the relevance of the issues discussed. The forum plans: 45 competitions within 6 congresses, exhibitions and open lectures, plenary sessions, a meeting of ambassadors, consuls and students "Dialogue on equal terms", a festival of cultures "Around the World" and the opening of the "Tree of Friendship" alley.

On April 27, the central event of the second day of the XII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum will be a dialogue between rectors of universities in the Russian Federation and foreign countries.
